VANUATU CITIZENSHIP-BY-INVESTMENT REQUIREMENTS

To apply for the Vanuatu Citizenship-by-Investment programme, applicants must fulfil ALL of the following requirements:

Personal Assets

The first way to fulfil the requirements of the Vanuatu citizenship application is by providing proof of assets totalling more than US$250,000.

Contribution

A government approved contribution is also required. The amount varies depending on the number of applicants. The required investment for a single applicant is US$130,000.

Considerations

Main applicants of our Vanuatu citizenship programme must:

  • Be over the age of 18
  • Have no criminal record

VANUATU CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS

Day 1

Due diligence checks made by Financial Intelligence Unit

Day 7

Financial Intelligence Unit clear applicants. Application begins.

Day 14

Application including nomination form and supporting documents sent to Vanuatu.

Days 15-30

Application approved. Second payment due.

Day 45

Confirmation of Citizenship and passport applications submitted.

Day 60

GB Invest send applicants copies of your Citizenship Certificate and Vanuatu passports.

Days 60-90

Oath taken and original passport presented in either Vanuatu or your nearest mission. The Commissioner of Oath and a passport officer can be invited to your home country to take the oath and present the passports.
